Cedric graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2016, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2018.

He joined the firm in 2023, where he is developing his practice in a broad spectrum of matters including civil and criminal litigation, including pro bono work.

Prior to his return to practice, Cedric had served as a Parliamentary Officer for 4 years at the Parliament of Singapore, attaining the appointment of Senior Assistant Clerk. His duties included providing legal and procedural advice to the Speaker of Parliament, Members of Parliament, and chairpersons of the various Select Committees of Parliament.

Beyond legal and legislative expertise, Cedric also has formal training and a track record in international relations, having been a conference team leader in Parliament.

In his personal time, Cedric regularly partakes in a myriad of volunteer work.

Some of Cedric’s notable cases include:

  1. ⁠Representing and advising a director of a Singapore company for claims involving allegations of, inter alia, fraudulent trading, for an amount of approximately US$3.5 billion;
  2. Acting in the Court of Appeal in relation to joinder, injunctions, breach of confidence and conflict of interests (Lim Oon Kuin and others v Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP and another appeal [2022] SGCA 29);
  3. Representing a client who was alleged to have engaged in a conspiracy to corruptly give gratification to a marine surveyor to under-declare marine fuel oil delivered to a vessel; and
  4. Represented a client who was facing a capital charge under Section 5 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1973. The High Court granted a ‘discharge amounting to an acquittal’ following counsel’s successful arguments based primarily on the chain of evidence issue.
