Preshin Manmindar, Associate

Preshin graduated from the University of Manchester (LLB Law) and University College London (LLM in International Commercial Law) and is an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Preshin is actively engaged in a broad range of complex litigation matters. His experience includes disputes relating to high-value commercial contracts, director / shareholder disputes, banking, insurance, defamation, construction, employment matters, and tortious claims.

Preshin also represents clients in high-profile white-collar crimes and mental capacity matters.

Some of Preshin’s notable experiences include:

  1. Acting in the Court of Appeal in relation to joinder, injunctions, breach of confidence and conflict of interest (Lim Oon Kuin and others v Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP and another appeal [2022] SGCA 29);
  2. Acting in the General Division of the High Court in Access Medical Pte Ltd and others v MHC Medical Network Pte Ltd [2023] SGHCR 19.
  3. Acting in the Magistrate’s Court in relation to a striking out application (Zou Xinye v Ang Eileen and another [2024] SGMC 9).
  4. Representing a director in respect of charges pertaining to Hyflux Ltd.
  5. Representing a former National University of Singapore Professor in respect of charges under the Penal Code.
  6. Representing an accused in respect of charges under the Securities and Futures Act concerning an SGX Listed Company.
  7. Representing an accused in respect of offences under the Penal Code and Insolvency, Restructuring and Dissolution Act 2018 concerning Tradenation Pte Ltd.
  8. Representing the former Deputy CEO and Head of Private Banking of BSI Bank Limited, Singapore Branch (BSIS) in respect of investigations concerning 1MDB.
